Just three steps and you are on the beach. Guests can avail of umbrellas and loungers in the areas conveniently reserved for the hotel, to spend very pleasant days by the sea. Nerano Bay is enchanting: crystal clear water, thanks also to the pebble beach and the rocky bed, ideal for bathing, snorkeling and diving.

Hotel La Certosa's gem is most definitely its restaurant, in a natural, extraordinary setting. The restaurant is enriched with carefully prepared dishes under the direction of the hotel's proprietors and Luisa and Rosiris who prepare traditional dishes with the freshest of aromas and flavors from both the land and sea around the Sorrento Peninsula.

Fish is our specialty, which is always of the freshest quality, raw to allow you to sample the thousand tastes of the sea, traditionally grilled or in really tasty soup, a house specialty. But the recipe that made the hotel and our restaurant renowned over Italy is Spaghetti with Zucchini, with season vegetables fried in olive oil, flavored with basil and parmesan, all mixed with Caciocavallo: really delicious!

Our cellar is as good as our kitchen and offers DOC wines from the Sorrento Peninsula including the whites Capri, Costa d'Amalfi and Penisola Sorrentina, which is more appreciated and renowned in its red and natural sparkling version and other important wines from Campania: the DOCG Fiano and Greco, the DOC Falanghina and DOC Aglianico.
